LED stands for "light emitting diode", these have been around for a long time but have only recently begun to become the new home lighting provider. With numerous benefits over other bulbs including extremely long life and very low energy usage it is a certainty that lighting is heading to LED.

Light Strings

Light Strings

Great for adding a bit of personality your your bedroom or living room. Comprising of around 20 lights, light strings feature decorative details such as wicker heart shapes.

Low Ceiling Lights

Low Voltage

Low Voltage

Low voltage lights are lights which require a transformer or driver to run on a voltage lower than 240V mains, usually 12V. These may be supplied and integrated into the fitting or required separately. These are not normally dimmable unless used with a trailing edge dimmer. Low voltage lights can be either 12V halogen capsules or 12V LED's.

Lumens

Lumens

These are what we now use to measure the amount of light which is output from a light source. We do not use watts as this is simply the amount of energy which is used to power it.
