Layered lighting rules!
Rather than depending on a single source of light, we are reminded of the importance of the aesthetics of layered lighting and including numerous lights within a room.
While this may appear to be a lot of lights, it’s an ideal configuration for big spaces such as living rooms, where table lamps, wall lights and ceiling pendant lighting all play significant roles in creating atmosphere in various scenarios.
Many Lighting Variations!
Recessed lighting, directed art lighting, wall sconces, and accent lights are examples of the massive amount of variations available.
Dimmer switches and independent settings for each light source can help you achieve a wide range of moods from bright and energetic to dark and brooding; whichever suits your requirments.
For something so integral to our homes, lighting is often not talked about in the same way decor or other foundational elements of a room are, and in some cases, it’s altogether neglected.
The fixtures a house or apartment comes with might suffice, but it’s hard to argue that a sleek ceiling pendant or an on-theme chandelier can’t beat the infamous flush-mounted ceiling lights or basic recessed lights found in most homes.
From charming ceiling pendants to table and wall lights that really up the ante in terms of creating that lovely summer style home, there’s something for everyone within this years summer trend. Get the Summer vibe all year round!
